Brilliant and Beautiful Book
By Chris Olson on May 6, 2013
I’m familiar with Kal’s cartoons more from multiple years of the “Best Editorial Cartoons of the Year” editions than from the Economist. That said, this is a wonderful addition to any collection of political or editorial cartoons, particularly at the asking price (which could have been significantly higher had it not been for a well-funded Kickstarter campaign). This huge softcover book is representative of the best of Kal’s work over the couse of his career – highly satirical, highly detailed, and extremely funny for those with the sense to understand it.
